at GoctaLab

GoctaLab is a dynamic platform located in the cloudforest of northern Peru that brings together nature, art, science, and wellbeing. It also functions as a guesthouse and artist residency dedicated to the reforestation of the cloud forest and the practice of permaculture on our organic farm. At our laboratory, we cultivate specialty high-altitude coffee, functional mushrooms, and endemic botanicals, weaving together scientific inquiry, culinary innovation, and ancestral knowledge to explore, preserve, and celebrate the extraordinary biodiversity of the Peruvian cloud forest . Through retreats and immersive experiences, GoctaLab connects contemporary creation with territory and community, encouraging the stewardship and appreciation of endemic resources.
